Checking boxes doesn't exactly make it easy to describe what I do. I mean, selecting up to 3 music genres... lol... Originally a classically trained guitar player (and tutor), I am a composer and producer, competent on keyboards as well as guitar and able to produce complete tracks, except for vocals (I mean, I can produce vocals, I just don't sing!) I had a few releases some years ago in an old school, jazzy R&B style. This not what I want to do at present so it's not terribly relevant. I also have a career in the professional audio industry that gives me access to extensive recording facilities if needed, in addition to my personal equipment. I write music but not lyrics, so I am always interested to work with lyricists and singers. Or, ideally, a singer who writes her own lyrics and is interested in recording.

Influences
My influences range from baroque music to jazz. :-) But more spefically, in a manner somewhat related to what I would like to do now, I listen to female R&B vocalists such as Tamia, Kelly Rowland, Monica, Ciara... I would be happy to include some hip hop elements, but I don't buy purely rap albums. I like a bit of rap mixed in with singing. I am primarily seeking someone with a tone and style that will inspire me, hopefully for a long term collaboration.
