Band to Join.ABOUT
I'd like ideally to join an established working band on guitar/vocals; alternatively gigs and deps on either guitar or bass with lead and/or backing vocals as required. I'm happy to travel reasonable distances. Mature and very experienced in all styles. Fluent guitarist and strong lead vocalist with extensive and very varied repertoire. Good ear and quick learner. Not keen on projects or pure rehearsal bands, but prepared to rehearse with a practical view to real work.

Influences
A very wide and eclectic range of influences. Everything from Sinatra to Albert Lee to B.B. King to Hank Williams to Lonnie Donegan to Chuck Berry to Mark Knopfler to Hank Marvin to Otis Redding to Steve Cropper to Chet Atkins - and back again... Rock'n'roll, '60s beat boom, '70s, classic pops, blues, standards, Eagles... I'm particularly fond of some of the red-hot Country pickers such as Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Ray Flacke, Redd Volkaert and others, though that's very far indeed from the only style I play in.

Many electric & acoustic guitars & basses, Fender, Music Man, ESP, Tokai, Ibanez, Yamaha, Washburn, Crafter etc; amps by Carr, Award-Session, Blackstar, Roland, Tech 21, Peavey, Gallien-Krueger, Cornell, Lab Series, etc. Also full Dynacord/EV P.A., Sennheiser, ElectroVoice and Shure mics. Umpteen bits & pieces accumulated over a lot of years. Though I do also play drums I don't currently own a kit.
