I'm Tom I'm 23, and I want to be in a pop punk band. I listen to a lot of pop punk music and I have just started singing and writing songs, I am just a beginner and willing to learn about how songs are formed and everything else. I thought maybe if I show people some recordings they could teach me how to become a musician and make some great music together. I also find it hard to sing in front of people so I am hoping to get over this fear and gain some confidence.

Influences
Lately I have been influenced by The story so far, neck deep, state champs, roam, wstr, set your goals, hit the lights etc. I have also been influenced by the older generation of pop punk like Blink 182 which I am quite rather obsessed with. I have grew up listening to Blink and other bands such as New found glory, good charlotte and various other pop punk and emo bands.

EQUIPMENT
At the moment I have no equipment, I just record myself on my iPhone. I have money to buy equipment but I am hoping somebody will guide me in the right direction of buying the best equipment for the space I have to work in and obviously in my budget.
