Bass player seeking interesting musical projects to join.

Do you believe that music is a powerful way to communicate ideas and stories with other people too? I want to contribute to songs that do this.

I'd like to join a band or collective that's writing and producing musically interesting and thoughtful songs. Groove/time-feel is something I look for and contribute to in the music I play, but I'm exploring harmonies and melodies too. But it's all to serve the song, not my ego.

I enjoy all sorts of music: blues, rock, metal, funk, hip-hop, big band jazz, fusion, electronic, punk, ska, dub, some pop but especially when the genres collide.

I'm a former Bass Tech (2002/3) and BIMM student (2004/5) and played gigs in London, Brighton and some small festivals. I've got some recording experience in studios too, but now it's so easy to do this at home, so I'm using Soundtrap and Logic Pro X.

Hopefully I've come across as someone who's passionate about making music with others and not a big-head. I'm a humble person and willing to learn new styles and techniques.
