Formed in 2007 by lead vocalist Alastair Gray, bassist Toby Dore and keyboardist Chloe Debouzie, The Stars Down to Earth attempt to write thoughtful and imaginative electro-orchestral indie. Joined in 2008 by vocalist/glockenspiel player Becky Walton and drummer Caz Adlington, they aspire to prove that exciting music can involve more than just guitars and beats. Their live performances are always fascinating and they hope to make a name for themselves among the memorable bands of Brighton. Their influences include Bowie, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, Grandaddy and Radiohead (among others).
