Mainly 60s/70s inspired guitar-based rock with an emphasis on harmony vocals and melodies, but mixing in more modern sounds e.g. from the Britpop era.
After a haitus due to some band members moving out of London, family commitments, etc, I'm now looking at starting something up again - whether this will be as The Poppy Seeds or something new, I haven't decided (NB I decided to create the profile as the band as this is more reflective of the recent past). At this stage I'm aiming to meet like-minded local musicians (especially drums) with similar influences, who are more interested in the enjoyment of creating and performing good original music than necessarily making a career out of it.
