Primarily a songwriter, I began as a vocalist in a number of cover bands. Recently I have begun to branch out, performing with Alison, in the amazingly named Alison & Mark...moving away from covers and into folk/americana influenced acoustic work. To keep the gigs coming I still perform covers but an increasing number of original tunes are being introduced into the set. The only mp3 I had to hand was a live cover with Alison of Knocking on Heaven's Door. I will update it - honest.

Influences:

Everything...I have a huge range of musical influences, though modern americana, blues and Bob Dylan figure strongly. That said I have been influenced by Nivarna, Metallica and Bach...and a recent trip to Memphis broadened my blues influences and introduced a little early Elvis into the mix.

Equipment List:

6 and 12 string acoustic for live work with the odd bit of harmonica thrown in. I also use a telecaster and epiphone explorer for recording. Like many people I use a range of computer software when developing tracks.
