Applications are invited for the following positions:
Drummer (must be competent in most styles, Backing vocals an advantage).
Lead Singer/Singer second guitarist.
Keyboard player (backing vocals an advantage).

We have played and gigged numerous styles of music under various names over the past 15yrs. The Covers Band is being assembled with the sole intention of working agency, corporate and function gigs for high end money. The band needs to be musically tight and professional in its presentation. The band will be run as a money making business concern. The set content is up tempo and we haven't had to comprimise too much!! The current set ranges from recent songs by U2, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Orson, The Automatic, Snowpatrol, Semisonic etc, through to older classics including Slade,Cheap Trick, Billy Idol and various others. So obviously Singer's applying for lead vocals will need to have a good range of vocal dynamics as well as an excellent stage presence. As you would expect the band is fully self sufficiant, we have a good quality P.A, lights, full front & backline. Our sound engineer has worked with us for a number of years, the P.A. and our sound are considered to be his instrument and he gets payed accordingly. Van and transport are also sorted.
If you are thinking of applying for any of the above, age and gender are irrelevant. Commitment, ability and availability are the main criteria. The band has managment availability when needed as well as agency gigs.
