Hi just starting up a new band here in good old sunny Leicester.
I'm a female rhythm/lead guitarist (26) and have hopefully found a bassist and singer, but we are still on the look for a rhythm/lead guitarist and drummer to complete the line up hoping to be gigging in the near future once we all have time.
A bit about us... I've played Spanish and electric guitar in different bands (10 years experience) and I do covers (you can check my musical influences below) and play my own stuff too. The (male) bassist is 28 and has been playing for about 12 years now on and off 100+ gigs done and studio time in with that too. The female singer is 26 too and has done some years of vocal training.
We are looking at the min to do covers from the likes of Evanesence and Paramore and so on till we get are self-started and a few songs wrote are ready to perform.
We're ideally looking for someone of a similar age but not too fussy as long as you can play well and are we're looking to perform in more than just the Leicester scene once up and running with the look to tour in the future but that part will come later lol
