ABOUT

About Us

Some years ago, (although no one is quite sure when), in the misty heartlands of the English nation, a band, nay, a sound was born. They are four in number and melodic in the execution of their music. We can now give names to these four, they are, Glenn, Joe and Jamie. Glenn is the voice of the group, a voice that has graced the halls and streets of many nations and other times. This is complimented and carried forth by the subliminally ostentatious rhythm section of Joe’s Bass licks and Jamie's drumbeats.

This group came from beyond the pale armed with a repertoire of toe-tapping, fist punching, lighter waving, rock/blues anthems and now they have broken through to our side of the bubble and are here to stay. Described as "The Black Keys in a fist fight with the Rolling Stones" The origin of the group’s name is inspired by the shocking incident that welcomed airplay of their debut single offering, Skinny Dipping. Avid avant garde music lovers at an exuberant underground student party played this tune so loud they soon found themselves surrounded by the fascist boys in blue. The kids refused to turn it down and the pigs responded by using their 40,000 volt Tazer guns with extreme prejudice. In honour of those brave souls and also because they thought it sounded good the group then gave themselves a name,
Tazer!

Members Of Band

Singer: G. Tazer’s front man graduated from the mean inner city streets of the East Midlands to roam the dream paved boulevards of California and Nevada. A man possessed of a visceral roar infused with vociferous wit. He now roams the alleys of Tazer’s musical construct proclaiming the shocking truth.

• Bass Guitar: Joe. As the ripples cross the surface of audial consciousness, the fibres resonate to the emanations of Tazer’s Nik Nak hoarding Bassman. A penchant for foil wrapped snacks and surrealist sardonic wisecracks, manifests the melodic psych that becomes a man called Joe.
