Hi we urgently need a Female Bassist for our Alternative/Rock trio.
we are a uk/usa outfit based in the south of the Netherlands, our original bassist has to take 6 months off, this could turn out to be permanent.
This is an established band with an Album already released, we have just recorded a second and we are planning a tour of europe for spring 2011, however we have smaller shows booked from October onwards in Holland and Germany as our only source of income is from shows and Cd sales.
You would have to be 100% committed and willing to move in with us at the band apartment in Vaals, for free of course and you would get some monies from shows. Confidence and commitment is more important than skill as we can work with you to bring the best out of your playing, please don't be put off by the high standard of our original bassist.
Age, nationality, looks not important but PLEASE,PLEASE note that we will only reply to people who understand that this would mean a total life change for the next 6 months including a move to Europe,frequent trips back to uk for whatever reasons would not be welcome, we also can not accommodate for partners, husbands or friends. You would need to have a 100% pro attitude towards the band and your career.
