ABOUT

I am looking for female singers to sing and record my original songs which are in many different styles with the aim of sending the songs off to music publishers and record labels. The aim is for my songs to be recognized and published and for the singer to be recognized and hopefully signed. Please contact me if you are interested in this project. It will hopefully be mutually rewarding. Up to this point in time, I have always sung my songs, but I want people whose main instrument is their voice to do the job.

Secondly, I want to be in a band and out there doing plenty of gigs - COVER songs and maybe at some point, original songs added to the equation. I am free, open and easy about musical styles as I like so many! I am a songwriter and musician of many different styles of music including pop, dance, ballads, R n B, country, rock, folk, acoustic, blues and more. I am passionate about all sorts of genre of music and am open to joining a band of many different genres or just one or two genres. Or, conversely, musicians and singer(s) join me to form a band. I used to be in a band and we did a few gigs, but unfortunately, it disbanded in recent times. This was due to some personal reasons given by some of the other members. The group was called "Zero 9" and based in Norwich in Norfolk. I was one of the keyboard and guitar players. You can find six of the cover songs we recorded in Reverbnation. When you hear such instruments as the piano, flute, brass and so on, that was me playing my keyboard. The Claire Teal number called "Don't let the sun catch you crying" shows very well much of my keyboard playing. I play the guitar in these songs also. You can see me sing my own original song in the video UNSPOKEN WORDS. I do sing my own songs, but I am not a natural singer and I just want to play the guitar and keyboard in a band.

EQUIPMENT

Korg PA500 keyboard (brand new), Gem synthesizer, bass guitar, Yamaha semi-acoustic guitar, Spanish guitar, Tanglewood 12 string guitar, Fender stratocaster electric guitar, Samick jazz guitar, Fender banjo, mandolin + a few harmonicas. My main instruments are the guitar and keyboard in all styles.
