SEEKING
Vocalist - Bass, Drums.ABOUT
I write melodic, complicated, sleazy, heavy, riffy, punky, cheesy, sing-a-longy, chunky, metally, rock 'n' roll.
My parents grew up in the 70's and so were into Rock'n'roll, Glam, Punk and Heavy Metal. My Dad was and still is a drummer and I used to watch him play in rock'n'roll bands all the time growing up as a child. Always wanted to play an instrument so tried playing everything I could get my hands on. Eventually found the guitar around 10/11 years old and haven't stopped playing since. If I could set my drum kit up anywhere I'd play them as well but haven't got the space for them.
Have played in a few bands but never really settled into a proper working band long enough to go very far. The songs available to listen to on the mp3 player are from the best band I was previously in and is in the vain in which I would like to continue with my songwriting.
Me and a mate are desperate to jam with a drummer and bass player that play to a good standard with similar tastes who have a passion for making music.
Nothing too serious at first - just to record and rehearse a set worth of tunes and see how it goes. Main goal is to gel and have fun.

Welcome
Welcome Year: 2003 Genre: Punk
intended as an intro to an album hence 'welcome'. recorded it pissed with a mate in his bedroom. that would have been the first time he heard the song so had to learn it as we went along and the first time i really figured out how all the differnt riffs should be structured. so considering the circumstances it's not that bad really for a demo.

pick up the pace
pick up the pace Year: 2003 Genre: Punk
another tune from the same pissed recording sessions with my mate. again, learnt, partly re-written, structured and recorded with my mate as we went along. these recordings were for the purpose of other band members to learn from. it's always much easier to just hand out demo cd's to band members when learning new tunes if you have that luxury and then build on the tunes from there in rehearsals (cubase literate band members are always appreaciated!). this song also encompasses all that i love about being in a band. heavy, riffy, shouty, balls out rock'n'roll!
