Hi, I am a singer / songwriter / keyboard player looking to become a solo artist.
I would like the musicians I have listed to join me in playing the 27 songs I have written on my keyboard. My songs all tell a story, and mainly surround historical events around the latter stages of the 16th century and early 17th century. I have a fascination for history and music and wanted to combine the two. But the whole history thing is only present in half of my songs, the other songs tell tale of love, lust, personal heartache, hope, but also of myth, politics and the state of the world in general. One of my songs 'Wasted Words' is professionally recorded in a studio and is available to hear on this site. It's a tale of one man's refusal to let go of a lost love and another man's failing attempts to help him. This was the first song I ever wrote and has a kind of gothic rock style to it, but whether this is my main genre I am unsure until I have musicians on board.
So whilst I sing the songs at recordings, jamming sessions, gigs and eventually tours hopefully, I would like you backup musicians to join me. So if you have a 'don't care what you play as long as you play' attitude, are committed, reliable, willing to play under my image and stagename and are into slightly extraordinary but unique lyrics and music give us a call. In return I will share all earnings with you and we'll have fun, laughs and hopefully a whole generation of new fans who will enjoy a new musical experience we have created together.
