Hiya :) I've been in a few bands over the years playing loads of gigs and various audience sizes - pubs and clubs to corporate "do's" and weddings. I'm mostly a Blues/Rock lead player but at various stages I've found myself going from singing Scissor Sisters (not a high point for me but the audiences loved it) to playing Clapton and Cream (that's more like it) at the flick of a switch. I'm looking for a band that want's to be out there and enjoying, but also attempting to be the best at what they do. If that means starting a new band then so be it. Good bass players and Drummers are really hard to find here - lots of guitarists around and singers a plenty (not all of them good) so I'm really looking for folk who can make me work hard to keep up. I've been told by so many different people that I'm really good at singing and playing so even though I'm a little embarassed by that, maybe there's something in it. If your into it, I'm at stephandonnelly at hot mail. I'd prefer something East Lothian / Edinburgh as it's easier to get to rehearsals (I do have my own transport) and I'm happy to rehease 3 or more times a week if the bands up for it. I live in Haddington if anyone needs to know :) I hope this doesn't come across as too much - I've had folk round before wanting to do stuff but don't really realise how good and tight a band needs to be - the difference from "garage band (audience of 5 family members)" to "stage band" (audience of 500+ who'll hapily tell you when you're bad - especially if drunk!). Please get in touch, I NEED TO PLAY!!!!

Influences:

I like a lot of the current band pop - Foo's, Biffy Clyro, Snow Patrol, Killers but grew up around clapton, BB king and Van Halen. Don't mind a bit of Muse and really like Feeder at the moment. Used to love Aerosmith and Bon Jovi but moved on a little since their heydays.

Equipment List:

Ibanez Electrics, Yamaha / Martin Acoustic guitars, Peavey Amps. Shure SM58's, standard stuff really - it's what you do with it ;)
