Steel City Rhythm, Sheffield's favourite original live Dub/Reggae/Festival outfit are looking for new members!!
We're after a new vocalist with an awesome presence who can come down and sing alongside our resident MC Stevie D, as well as a rhythm guitarist that knows their reggae: can keep a tight skank rhythm going, dub it up with some delays and maybe even drop a tasty lead lick in here or there!
Over the last year we've played high profile slots at Peace in the Park, Tramlines & Sharrow as well as headlining the Northern Green Gathering, supporting great acts such as Dreadzone and storming some of the UKs best festivals like Boomtown Fair!!
Were looking for like minded individuals who are capable, commited and are willing to hit the ground running in terms of learning existing material and getting involved in our album recording. If you're a fan of Fat Freddys Drop, The Wailers, Cat Empire, The Skints, King Tubby, early UB40 and anything in between and can see yourself playing as many festivals and gigs as possible next summer drop us a line!
