I have a handful of what I think are pretty good songs, but what I'm really missing is other people to write and play with, to bounce ideas around creatively, but mostly to just play live! Looking for other musicians to play, gig and record with. Especially a lyricist. Musically I can write good stuff, but lyrically can do little more than rhyme love with dove, and above!

Although I love all music (even some Country!) - what I write tends to be more folk/acoustic driven music. I write in a really instinctual way using open tunings so I don't revert to musical cliche too quickly.

Given the right circumstance I would consider what it would take to jump from 'Moderately' to 'Seriously Committed' at the drop of a hat.

Influences:

Too long to list - Alan Lomax to David Sylvian - anything that carries some kind of emotional punch gets my vote. Pretty much anything by the big labels you can leave at the door.

Equipment List:

Two steel string acoustics (a Yamaha and an Ovation) and a nylon string guitar - all in different open tunings. A six string banjo two.
