On this page, you can hear a collection of instrumental tracks I composed, recorded, mixed and mastered mostly during lockdown. I play everything except some lead guitar on a couple of tracks, but just can't sing for toffee. Therefore, am looking to collaborate with either male or female (or both) vocalists to really bring these tracks to life. They've all be written with a vocalist in mind and are in an indie/progressive/pop/electronica vein with some unusual time signatures thrown in to keep the listener on their toes in some tracks. The music is dynamic, with light and shade in each track, some with crashing guitars, others oozing atmosphere. 3 minute pop songs these aren't. You essentially have a carte blanche to make up your own phrasings, harmonies and melodies. As long as it fits and the delivery is good, then that's all what is required.
This is a studio project only, so there is no requirement to replicate any of this live. You don't necessarily need to be a rock vocalist; contrasting deliveries may add a lush flavour to it all.
Pick one or more if you desire. It's feasible that if you have access to recording equipment, we could work remotely, so you don't even need to be living near me, which is in North Wales, UK. Stems can be sent via WeTransfer and I can drop them in to the project at my end.
Ultimate goal is to have something to release on Bandcamp and all the usual digital outlets such as Spotify, Amazon, iTunes etc with the vocalist getting a percentage (50% from tracks that I've done all the music for; 33% where I've used a lead guitarist) of any sales.
