I'm an 18 year old Brighton based bassist looking for some serious paid and unpaid live/session work (plus good memories to boot). I've just finished my first year at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music with mostly distinction grades and I'm eagerly awaiting to start my second year.

My real tastes and playing style lies with hard/alternative rock in the vein of Helmet, Incubus etc. but my appreciations and influences run extremely wide...I'm a massive fan of stuff like trip hop, funk/acid jazz, piano and guitar jazz, indie and Brit-pop, soul, reggae...I love listening and especially playing everything and anything.

I am a very dedicated and hard working bassist who can absoultely be depended on learning any size of song or set list, no matter the urgency or time frame, and that also has a very good ear (perfect pitch). I use high quality professional gear (Fender bass, MarkBass/Ampeg amps) and is very willing to (within reason) travel if need be.

Influences:

Bass wise, I'm influenced by players including Dirk Lance (Incubus), P-Nut (311), Jaco Pastorius, Sam Rivers (Limp Bizkit), Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine), Ryan Martinie (Mudvayne) Frank Bello (Helmet) amongst many others.

My favourite bands include Incubus, Helmet, 311, Doves, Live, Alice In Chains, Silverchair, Coldplay, Jamiroquai, Massive Attack again amongst many others!
