Hello!
We are a Slipknot tribute band, we are in rehearsals and will be booking gigs very shortly. It's an exciting project, and everyone involved are great people! We need the following members urgently:
#0 - DJ
#5 - Samples and media
It's not ESSENTIAL that you have your own gear right away, and you don't have to be of a high standard either.
For #0 - DJ - Just a basic understanding of a turntable will suffice. We have most of the samples you'll need to get started, just trying to source the last few. As long as you can bring some energy to the stage, that's the main thing.
For #5 - Samples - Again, no in depth knowledge required. We again have most of the sample's you'll need. And to begin with, we can even let you use our sample pad so you don't even need the equipment to get started. Awesome, right?!
We are based in the Thurrock area of Essex, but due to the nature of the roles, if you can't make every rehearsal, thats fine. As long as you can try and make a few, and key rehearsals before gigs, that's all we ask.
We have started putting together some practice, and without sounding big headed, its coming together really nice.
We really hope you'd like to be a part of this, we really think it's going to be a good laugh, and has the potential to be quite successful!
