Played drums in rock covers bands since early 2000s and done the gig circuit in Surrey more times than I recall!
Also played rhythm and lead guitar back in the 80s/90s in an original band, touring the country in the ubiquitous knackered van and trying our best to get signed. Close...but no cigar.
More recently I've been playing drums in my studio, working and recording with local musicians. And playing the local open mic night circuit most weeks.
Looking to join a band as a drummer mainly, but I'm also a competent guitarist so open to options.
I'd like to join or start a band playing rock/metal, covers or original stuff and generally collaborate with other rockers!
Relatively committed but primarily want to have fun and enjoy playing great music.
I also have a basic home studio set up and am learning the ropes of recording and production. Have released a few tracks recently that I recorded and produced with local musicians.

Influences
Pretty much all rock and metal, starting in the 80s through to present day.
Was heavily influenced by NWOBHM in the 80s and also love all things hair metal. 90s was all about grunge, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam - to name a few - being massive influences.
But I'm not really that picky. As long as it rocks!
