beatles, because they were hugely melodic and used great chords and harmonies with the end result;songs with a lot of energy. bob dylan ,taj mahal, sam cook, bb king(and the other kings)
cold chisel, beat farmers(so clever!!)
santana(third album..stonking).little sister(south london pub band) esp. their versions of"as the years go passing by" "mercury blues" mustang sally with huemungus slide work. chuck farley another of the above(i"ve nicked all the good stuff!!)van morrison.i love the sound of the fender rhodes, hammond and the old juno keyboards-!There may be a chance of doing a sunday lunchtime/evening gig every sunday in a pub(in worthing) with a stage, pratically anytime. email me at simon.fawcitt@yahoo.co.uk.
