Setsudan started in the summer of 2006, when Guitarist Krys Bangert and Drummer Kevin Noon met up after discussing musical influences online.

The two got on very well and started to jam together at local practice rooms in the subsequent months; the band progressed well and started to incorporate many alternative and progressive elements into the music.

In late 2007 after auditioning multiple bassists, James Watkin joined the band for a time. His knowledge and skill with multiple instruments made a great addition to the band. But unfortunatley due to work commitments James had to leave.
In mid 2008 Chris Dean joined the band, another talented multi-instrumentalist. His diverse influences and experience fit with the band very well.

Setsudan is currently looking to recruit a keyboard player and vocalist to complete the line-up. Many tracks are already in the pipeline and site updates are soon to follow.

Influences:

Progressive Rock/Metal with elements of many other genres.

Influences include:
Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Dream Theater, Incubus, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd.
