ABOUT

Hi all, I'm Nik, I work a day job (9-6 Mon-Fri) around Liverpool street, I live on Clapham high st. My whole family are musicians, so I've been raised around music (spent early years living with my mom in conservatory dorms) then lived with grandma who's a piano teacher, so naturally I've been quite involved in music. I learned piano and violin as a kid for a couple of years, and later stopped, but always spent almost all my time listening to music. Summer 2010 I finally decided to get a guitar, and have been playing ever since.
In terms of music genres, I can enjoy almost everything, depending on the mood, though some moods occur more rarely than others. Most common moods are metal - progressive rock - classical - electronic.
On guitar I play pretty much exclusively metal, though I am open to something lighter. I go through phases in terms of what bands' music I play. For a huge time I was in the phase of Death. Nowadays in massive In Flames and Dream theatre phase.
I've been playing guitar for ages but never live and not much with others, but loved every jam :D
