Hi... Looking for people here... either individuals or a band. I'm a guitarist (but also play piano, harmonica, some bass, and also singing... and try to play drums sometimes too). I was in a band for 10 years, but quit a couple of years ago... now feels the right time to try something new and get back into things... I'd like to either join a band that sounds cool and feels right, or start my own band with the stuff I've been writing, collaborating with others perhaps in writing stuff, seeing where it goes.

The songs I've written over the past couple of years range from stuff influenced by the Cure and Cocteau Twins to acoustic stuff (Violent Femmes perhaps?) to more upbeat alt-rock stuff (Pixies perhaps?). Look at the influences list if you have the energy for that extra click... but in general I've got pretty diverse musical tastes, so am open to any ideas anyone has... experimentation is always cool. Influences:

Very broad range of musical tastes - rock, blues, jazz, folk, metal, classical - but rock and blues are my first loves. My recent influences are Cure, Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Nick Drake, Violent Femmes, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Rolling Stones.
