Sammy-Lee began his musical career at the age of 12 when he started righting song for his school band. He also taught himself guitar, base, drums and harmonica. Sam has worked professionally as a session bass player, song righter, performer and guitarist. He has toured with various bands around London and the southeast, has won various Battle of The Bands contests and song righting awards with his original material. Sam has recently started a solo project which is gathering a good response from local venues and recording studios. He is currently recording his debut Solo album which will be available for purchase in the coming month. Sam has been offered a place to study at The School of Music in Leeds and is currently auditioning at other schools around the country. Sam’s style is fresh, edgy and emotional, his stage presents is eye catching and his music is “toe tapping-ly upbeat”- “you find yourself singing his songs on the way home” (Blam Magazine).
