I played bass for 20 years before learning the acoustic and electric guitar. I also can play some keyboards and played drums on and off for years. I played live as a bass player from 1986 to 1996 in London and SE. I also did lots of session work. Since then just played live a few times.

Lots of studio time - still ongoing mostly recording improvisation.

I only play guitar now (and drums for fun) but I still give bass guitar lessons.

Influences:

Beatles, Hendrix, Zappa, Talking Heads, Nirvana, grew up listening to jazz and swing, was in a big band when I was 12. Rock bands from 18 to 28. Then was a dance music producer for few years as well.
