Influences
The roots of RSVP started when Dildar was a child. He was well known as a child performer, singing at family gathering and community events.
This was taken further when he joined family band called 'Dil Khush' (happy hearts) in 1982. This band played successfully in the UK, when bands like Alaap, DCS and Malkit Singh did not even exist.
The band RSVP was started in the early 90's with Dildar recruiting Chris Horn (a talented studio engineer), his cousin Rajoo (playing Dholak) and his brother Judge (who had to learn the bass from scratch).

The band has gone through many changes since then, but the RSVP you see now was produced when Puggy (Drums), Sarah (Violin/Accordion/Flute), Mark (Guitar) and Jeevan (Percussion) came together.
