My name is Rob, I am from the Portsmouth/Waterlooville area,I play drums as a 1st instrument but also, piano and sing, I am seeking to join or create a Jazz/Blues/Funk band, I am open to join a bigband with a classical feel too or a Gospel band.

I have been in gigging bands before, I have done the Portsmouth indie circuit before and I now want to experiment and explore with my new found love for Bigband/Blues/Funk/Jazz/Gospel.

I love Bigband/Funky/Jazz/Soul/Gospel music, somthing with a bit of a snap and punch to it, theres nothing like hearing a full Bigband playing with, Guitar, Drums, Bass and Singer, my influences range from, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Nat King Cole, but I love listening to Jazz/Funk drumming in particular.

For me, hearing the sax on a piece of music is incredible - I love MJ, Pink Floyd and Frank Sinatra to name a few.
