Gotta have a groove!
Grew up on 60's guitar bands
Later got into heavier Metallica, GnR, RHCP (90's rock), but since moving from guitar to bass (a long time ago) I prefer something with good melody and a great groove.
Don't like to be 'boxed-in' to a genre.
If it grooves and makes you come alive then it good in my book!
