'Man At The Window' are Scotland's most respected live festival and quality venue group, bursting with bass driven harmonic melodies, defined dance synth overtones and instinctively performed lead guitar solos within interactive anthems to woo the audiences. The group have a defined history of famous supports and headline shows like the Nottinghill Carnival, The Wickerman Festival, Eden Festival , Knockengorroch Festival, The Arches ,O2 Academy, Ronnie Scott's London and all best loved Live Events throughout the circuit.
A long history of great shows and media appearances make 'Man At The Window' one of the best loved and respected groups on the UK festival circuit representing Scotland's professional popular R&B- Dance Reggae community. Working with the likes of Jackie Mittoo, Easy All Stars, Sly & Robbie and sharing stages with icons such as The Human League, The Zutons, Steel pulse and bad manners etc have built a strong fan base which supports the group's passion for live performance and showmanship through some of the toughest years economically for the music industry. It's all about the music and giving the fans a musical feast on such a professional live platform is rare at this level. Last year saw the group signed to Irish record label CKR records; with a strong European tour for 2012 the group are becoming the icons of Scotland's live music facade. The group were awarded 'Artists Of The Year' from The American songwriters forum 'Songramp' which was unusual accolade in that a Scottish band were chosen from hundreds of very talented American writers.

Third World, Gregory Issacs, Eddie Grant, Ziggy Marley and the best reggae story I have is my pal Steve was on a flight as an unaccompanied minor when he heard Bob Marley & The Wailers were onboard in first class. Being a gallous wee thing he marched up and asked if he could meet them, invited up to first class as a 15 year old reggae fan is something he will never forget. They embraced him like a long lost friend and those were the days when smoking was allowed onboard planes so he sat there and partook in a puff with the wailers. Can you imagine? Anyway I digress into waffle....away and have a listen to Man At The Window - it surely made me smile.
