I am an experienced guitarist and singer hoping to form a new band. I'd describe myself firstly as a lead guitarist in the Blues/Rock mould but also a bit of a singer-songwriter type. I've played many of the great British Blues, folk and rock festivals alongside some great names and have supported and jammed with some great people too. Although I welcome any session jobs I'm really keen to start up my own thing again with some likeminded musicians.

Influences:

When I was 20 it was all Dylan, the Beatles, Hendrix and a heap of blues but these days I'm into a whole load of stuff from Charlie Parker to Hank Williams and I especially love anyone who writes great like Tom Waits.

Equipment List:

I play a heavy old '79 Strat and a new Tele through a Twin Reverb with a tone leaning towards Stevie Ray or Robert Cray. Not one for effects but do love my Ibanez Tube-screamer and the occasional bit of Wah. Acoustically I play a Taylor 114E and an old Hofner Senator for slide.
