Hi there,
My name is Rachel Streeter and I worked in the music industry as a singer songwriter/recording artist on and off for 20 years but took a break from it all a few years ago after a difficult band collapse and so I could concentrate on my business.
My deep love of singing and writing has always been niggling away in the background and I feel like it’s the right time to pick it up again, however I made a promise to myself that should I collaborate with anyone again, it would need to be the right person who shares my values and musical style and who is not driven by ego, vanity, or money.
I run a successful shamanic practice in Bexhill on sea, East Sussex working as a shamanic healing practitioner and traditional shamanic drum crafter, so if I was to invest time into singing/writing/collaborate again I would prefer to write about meaningful and empowering things such as the power of mother earth, ancestral routes, past lives and shamanic tribes etc rather than ‘falling out of love’ or ‘being dumped by my boyfriend’.
If you want to hear my voice, there are a couple of amateur music videos on you tube which are 3-5 years old. They are not the style I would now like to sing but they’ll give you an idea of my tone.
