Hiya, John here. I'm looking at setting up an Edinburgh based band and need musicians to fill up the gaps. I am a singer/song writter with strong interests in retro bands ( such as "Pink Floyd", "The Beatles", "Bob Dylan", "The Doors", "The Kinks","Jimi Hendrix","Bob Marley", "The Stranglers", "The Sex Pistols", " New Model Army" ). I'm looking for people with simular musical likes to me ( well a little bit will do ) who want to be in a band which will be original and different from modern music. I like the idea of it being a rather unpredictable band, with mellow and rocky music. A band that plays different songs, depending on it's mood. I like the idea of asking a band member ( while we're on stage ) whether we should play "Ace Of Spades" or go for the "Monster Mash". These are my concepts through and I'd like to imform you that all the members will be equeal and I do expect the plan to change with added input. Right now I need Guitarist, Bassest, Keyboardest and Drummer. It is quite importent that I want writters ( being music or lyrics ) who will be able to creatively pull there own weight, but I don't expect all members to be like that. I don't want to be the only person writing songs. The ability to sing would be an added bonus. I've your interested, give me an e-mail and I will get back to you.
