ABOUT

Following the recent departure of our vocalist/frontman, we are seeking a dedicated and committed individual to join our existing line-up. We are a band who is serious about making music and being heard. This is exemplified by the momentum we have gathered in our short existence.

Since forming at the beginning of 2013 we have:

Established a strong following both within Manchester and further afield. (We now sell between 150-250 tickets for any hometown gig and have a network of promoter contacts in major cities including, Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham & London.) Our last hometown show in June at the Deaf Institute was sold out. 250+ capacity Venue.
Created a huge social network presence, through extensive activity using various online channels including twitter where we now have over 26000 twitter followers.
Released two critically acclaimed EPs (Search Puppet Rebellion on soundcloud).
Received a huge amount of positive press through an abundance of online and print publications (Google Puppet Rebellion for samples).
Had our music featured on Manchester City's official website in their October Goal of the Month video.
Had one of our songs played during half-time at Old Trafford during a Champions League match.
Released professional standard music videos (search YouTube)
Set-up our own website, merchandise channels and other promotional materials.

We are currently in the process of writing material which will eventually make up our debut album. We have a detailed strategy to take us to the next level, with the ultimate aim of being signed and touring etc.

We are looking for someone who is extremely committed and motivated and willing to put in the same time and effort we do. To elaborate on this, we are looking for a talented musician with the ability to write strong melodies and lyrics and have a major input in future songs/put their stamp on current songs. The band has never or will never be a dictatorship. Opinions/ideas on song material and the day to day running or the band are encouraged and expected. We need the right individual to be able to commit to the following;

Rehearse twice a week (every week!) - We have block bookings at a rehearsal space in Manchester City centre on Mondays and Thursdays 8-11pm.
Be available to play gigs 80-90% of weekends in the year.
Put aside a few hours every week for non-music related activities eg social networking, PR etc
Be punctual and reliable.
