I am from a band called Pulmonic who are currently a 3 piece from London/Brighton. We are looking for a keys player for some up coming shows as well as writing and recording new material.

Our sound is based around a rock guitar sound combed with a driving rhythm section. Our main agenda is incorporating musical styles with a rock sound while mixing time signatures and bringing in
influences from our vast listening spectrum, from speedy Drum N'Bass beats to a dance-inducing Afro-Beat with a dronie-post-rock-stoner vibe in the background... You name it!

We are looking for someone with confidence in their playing ability as well as a good ear for melody. An open mind when it comes to playing and the ability to improvise would also be an asset as we do like to jam when playing live but also appreciate a tight song structure for the listener to have a connection to.

We have recorded 10 of our tunes and included keys (Rhodes & Wurlitzer sounds), mellotron and synth on all tracks and now want to incorporate this into our permanent live set as a 4 piece. I guess some influences of this sound are The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Interpol, Battles, Unkle, Led Zep (trampled under foot?), Christian Scott, Fugazi et others...

We are looking to create a sound built around 4 individual instruments that compliment each other. We are looking to writing more songs as a 4 piece in the future so your creativity is as welcome as your commitment.

We currently rehearse in North London as Filipe is a Stoke Newington-ite and I (Graham) live in Tottenham but Niall (who plays the drums) lives in Brighton so rehearsing down there is also an option as well as anywhere inbetween. As much as I love London getting out into a different headspace can be really useful in the creative process.
