About

I am a grade 8 Alto Saxophonist with years of experience playing in bands, orchestras and wind bands, as well as quartets. I am great at both coming up with something new and playing something already composed (from ear and reading music). I also play the keys and melodica, as well as singing backing vocal harmony.

I am cirrently looking for a vocalist for my new Dub/Reggae band based in bristol so please get in touch if you are interested (e-mail is: mini_scrubber@hotmail.com) but also looking for a function band to join who gig regularly and get well paid gigs where i can quit my bar job, or just reduce hours to a minimum and commit my myself to a band where i get paid work.

Influences

Various Reggae/dub artists and producers including Pablo Gad, Augustus Pablo, Sly & Robbie etc.... and UK Ska, especially the 2tone bands. Also General Electronic Music including Breakbeat, Jungle, Oldschool/Rave, Jungle and many more. Music which generally has a wicked groove and is fun to watch live.
