More up for having fun playing than aiming for the stars, I'd been playing with a band down South for about 4 years before moving up here. I'm not coming with any kind of musical agenda - the band I was in was not exactly on the cutting edge of music (there's a reason for this, which I will explain). I'm happy to play pretty much anything as long as it's got some kind of melodic hook to it i.e. not grinding dirge. P.S. I'm not into slap, or anything insanely techincal - just want to devlop solid bass playing as part of a tight overall sound.
