About

Work & family has meant I haven't had time for playing music for about 10 years, but now circumstances have changed and I’m looking for some talented like-minded people to get together with to jam with covers & originals, do some recording, have fun & play the odd gig. Here's me in action:

Ideally I'm looking for a band or individuals who love making music, getting together to jam & play & do the odd gig.

I love 60's & 70's rock, and the perfect band would have musicians who know how to play and have great harmonies, definitely featuring a keyboard player who can play a great Hammond sound & Jon Lord style.

Great cover to play could include: anything by the Who (Substitute / the whole of Tommy..?), any Small Faces (especially Tin Soldier), Rolling Stones, and tracks like Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf), Harvest for the World (Isley Brothers), Hush (Deep Purple / Kula Shaker), Gimme some lovin' (Spencer Davis Group), All right now / Wishing Well (Free), Hard to Handle (Black Crows), Vertigo (U2), Smells like Teen Spirit (Nirvana), Handbags & Gladrags (Sterophonics, etc), Mustang Sally, Cocaine, She Said She Said (Beatles), Pretty Green (Jam), Teenage Lament 74 (Alice Cooper), Let me Entertain you (Robbie Williams)... hopefully you get the picture!

Influences

Drummers: Keith Moon, Stuart Elliot, Ian Paice, and lots more...

Music: 60's & 70's Rock & Pop, but anything that's good (very subjective I know, but a band with a good keyboard player & a hammond feel is a definite bonus!)
