Influences
I've been playing bass since my early teens, so influences within my listening and playing have been many and various over the years, including many of the best known acts from the genres I've listed. Right now though I'm inspired by the likes of The Black Pumas, Vintage Trouble, Gary Clark Jr., Skunk Anansie, Joan as Policewoman, Yo La Tengo, This Is The Kit, The Leisure Society, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey and Nate Smith & Kinfolk. I particularly enjoy discovering music through live performance and videos from the likes of NPR Tiny Desk and KEXP have become some of my favourite go-to sources for new music and new influences.

EQUIPMENT
Bass guitars: I'm a big fan of Ibanez basses from the early 1980's and have a Roadster (fretless) a Blazer and a Roadstar II. I have a five string G&L Tribute L2500 and a Takamine EG512C acoustic bass. Amplification: Euphonic Audio, Gallien Krueger and Ashdown heads, small Line 6 combo, Bergantino, Ashdown and Trace Elliot cabs. Pedals: I have a pedal board set-up that I'm really happy with that gives me lots of sounds to suit a range of genres as well as a great straight-to-desk DI option.
