ABOUT

*** LATEST FROM THE SKIP MURDEN BAND ***
***Check out the music from the Lound gig on the profile.***
(NB - these are recordings made through the desk during the gig, cleaned to take out excess drum noise but not corrected).
After a warm up gig at The Plough in New Ollerton, the band was out last weekend in Lound raising money for the Village Hall. Great night was had by all. Thanks for the wonderful reception.
Music from the gig is posted here. Recorded live, no re-takes, overdubs.
Gig in Bottesford has had to be cancelled as our drummer has broken a finger and will be out of action for at least a month.
The band is playing a real mix of soft rock, pop (non cheesy stuff), rock'n'roll, Indie, prog rock, whatever suits - a fun mix. Really enjoying it.

About me:-
Experienced and competent bassist. Mostly played classic rock and blues.
Having founded both Turner Street Crash and TCR, both successful covers bands in South Wales. On coming north, formed the GREEN BULLET BLUES BAND which lasted till the plandemic struck and now playing with a bunch of talented and experienced musicians with a real mix of pop, soft rock and basically anything that takes our collective fancy. Look out for THE SKIP MURDEN BAND.
My past set lists have included the likes of :- Dr. Feelgood, Free, Bad Company, Cream, Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Family, Nine Below Zero, Canned Heat, Joe Walsh, Sam & Dave,
Now playing No Doubt, Ace, Fleetwood Mac, Garbage, Bonnie Raitt, The Pretenders, Pink, so a pretty eclectic mix, but good fun.
