Guitar player: lead guitar (and rhythm guitar) and also slide guitar. I have written many songs but more tunes than songs. Would like to work with musicians with recording skills to collaborate on songs. Also, lyricists & other musicians especially vocals, rhythm guitar, bass, keyboards, & drums.
I mainly play jazz / blues / blues rock / country rock type material, but with a modern spin on it. Would like to work with others in this type of idiom, particularly on original material or 'new takes' on standards etc; but anything considered.

In addition to jazz guitar I enjoy playing slide to a whole range of artists' material e.g. Dylan; Clapton; J.J. Cale; Van Morrison; early Dire Straits; Paul Simon; Joan Armatrading; Alison Krauss; Norah Jones; Paulo Nutini; Jamie Cullum; Amy Winehouse; Melody Gardot; Old Crow Medicine Show; Bap Kennedy; Alison Krauss & Jerry Douglas; Catherine MacLellan & Chris Gauthier; etc. In this kind of context my rhythm / lead slide guitar can really help 'drive' and 'groove' the band.
I play electric slide, to most types of music, not just covering the traditional blues licks, and this can give an unusual and interesting ‘feel’ to, and take on, a range of material.
In this context I would particularly like to link up with a good, solid, rhythm guitarist: acoustic / electric.
