North London four-piece Vortex Floors are looking for a replacement drummer. We have a full set of exciting and original material and will be ready to resume regular live gigs in and around London as soon as the new drummer is up to speed. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed drummer. We combine classic alternative rock influences and post-punk energy, with catchy hooks, funky Hammond-led sound and a relentless psychedelic groove.
Our widely acclaimed debut gig at the Macbeth pub, Hoxton in August 2023 was followed up by a trip to the studio to record two tracks as a promotional release (Ocean Girl and Runaway Train).
With our unique blend of musical influences, innovative approach and commitment to making exciting music, we feel that Vortex Floors have enormous potential. But we need a drummer to turn that potential into reality.
