Influences
I love funky 9th chords, jazzy 13ths, memorable riffs, beautiful chord progressions, spacey dub echoes, huge bass lines (but I'm NOT a bass player), the intensity of 30 second punk songs, massive walls of noise... the list could go on!
In terms of bands/artists, right now I'd say:
Frank Zappa, Boards of Canada, Sleepy Sun, Orange Goblin, Led Zeppelin, Kyuss, Parliament Funkadelic, Super Furry Animals, Tom Waits, early noisy punk e.g. Crass, Oi Polloi, Discharge etc. Squarepusher, Mogwai, St. Vincent, The Specials... I'll stop now.
