Parachute for Gordo are a three piece instrumental rock band from Surrey and Hampshire featuring Laura Lee on guitar and John Harvey on bass. They are looking for a new drummer. They make music that is by turns blissful and apocalypic, serious and silly, complex and startlingly direct. Their music is the result of play and experimentation, short attention spans and an irreverent anarchic nature.

Parachute for Gordo was formed as a live band first and foremost, with a focus on punk-rock spirit and artistic intent having more importance than sheer soulless technical prowess. Their shows are gleefully rough-edged and raw with John's frantic, fuzzed out rhythm section tempered by Laura Lee's distinctly cleaner guitar style.
