Out By Nine are a hard-working originals rock band based out of Reading, Berkshire that have played all over the South of England. We were brought together in 2014 by a mutual love of guitar riffs and good old catchy melodies.

Our diverse personal tastes in music has meant for an eclectic set list. From all out hard rock tracks, through to funky tunes made for getting your groove on, to slower, powerful ballads. We also throw in a good selection of classic covers for an audience sing-a-long.

We have been likened at times to the Kings of Leon, The Killers, The Verve and David Bowie amongst others. But with influences as diverse as Motörhead, Neil Young, Tom Petty, R.E.M and Red Hot Chili Peppers, it's tough to pigeon hole the music. We all share a love of choruses and catchy hooks, so we refuse to call ourselves anything other than a straight forward rock band.
