ABOUT

Vocalist, rhythm/slide guitarist and ukulele strummer.
Profile picture taken about ten years ago, when I went out as "Pete Silver". I now play old Rhythm & Blues, 50s/60s Rock-pop and Rockabilly (not Psycho, Metal, Punk-a-billy or modern R&B though).
I am looking for a double bassist or bass guitarist, lead guitarist or steel player, percussionist /drummer, keyboardist, saxophonist and other instrumentalists / vocalists etc. male or female ( Rockabilly girls are cool!). I am quite happy for others to sing lead vocals. You don't have to be a brilliant player, but must have a sense of rhythm and enjoy this type of music. Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Hank Williams, Charlie Feathers, Johnny Cash, Marvin Rainwater, LaVerne Baker, Janis Martin, early Elvis, Cliff Richard, Marty Wilde, Billy Fury, Terry Dene, Vince Taylor and Crazy Cavan etc.
