Influences
Oll Noll's prime influences are music with guitars in, anything contrapuntal, and modernism drawn from across the arts. A sound world of guitars, superimposed melodies, atonal textures, with some tongue in cheek silliness along the way. Guitar riffs and hooks are inspired by blues, metal, and contemporary folk. Contrapuntal ideas come from early music and serialism. And textures come from modernist avant-garde & experimental classical music, and jazz fusion. Topped, where possible, with a serving of parody.
