We are trying to form an old style blues band with a female singer. The 3 current members are all experienced, well connected, good standard musicians with one member studying at Leeds College of Music and have played together before in various combinations. We are all 20-21.
We are looking for a female singer and a keyboard player aged 18-25
We have a practice space in Preston with lots of professional equipment where we would like to practice about every one or two weeks at the weekend.
The plan is to get recording original material as soon as possible to get gigs and exposure. We have good contacts for decent gigs and exposure and recording equipment good enough for good quality demos in Preston and access to proper studios and technicians in Leeds for free.
We always have a laugh when playing together so it would be useful to be not easily offended!
