I am a Brazilian/Portuguese musician who recently arrived in Manchester. I've been playing for 15 years now having had several bands and played quite a few gigs back in my home city, in Brazil.
I've always been a frontman and enjoyed playing riffs and singing. I am also familiarised with music theory, chords, scales and the Gregorian modes, having unlocked more than the minimum knowledge for writing songs. I am a gear addicted as much as my money can afford and I have had a small experience with recording and mixing.
I came to the UK because I am completely in love with the British scene, and because of this pandemic I still haven't had the chance to really experience it.
Before coming I conceived my new project, Stolid Temper. I have some songs written and I want to find bandmates to start something new. I am wiling to take things seriously, get gigs, get known and maybe go into the studio and start recording.

Influences
When it comes to my first instrument, the electric guitar, my influences are some of the modern indie/rock bands; Arctic Monkeys, Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Keys, The White Stripes, Metronomy, can be put as the most famous ones that really influenced me.
I also like some old stuff. Television, T-Rex and Muddy Waters are some examples. I am never listening to the same stuff for too long.
However, the biggest influence I have when it comes to lyrics, nowadays, is Alex Turner.
